Fall Athletics -Cross Country, Girls Volleyball, Flag Football and Sabrina Bowl

 

Welcome back!

We are so excited to have our CMP Family back together for another fabulous year!

Cross Country (grades 3-8) begins with the first practice on Monday 8/19 on Upper Campus.  Pick up is 4:15 at the Upper Campus.  Students are welcome to come and give it a try on 8/19 before committing.  Paperwork is needed before the third practice on 8/26.  The meet schedule will be sent out once we have our roster and it will be online, too, by 8/19. Practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays 'til 4:15 (ERDs 'til 1 pm-bring a light snack). The first meet is on 9/11 at Valley View.

Girls Volleyball (grades 6-8) Tryouts the first day of school,12:45-3:15 Wed/Thurs/Fri for everyone interested in trying out for the team. 8/19-8/22 conditioning after school 'til 5pm for JV (6th/7th) and 'til 5:30 for Varsity (8th). 8/23 is 3:30-5:30 at the sand courts off Durock. Beginning 8/26 regular season practices: Monday thru Thursday JV 'til 5pm, Varsity 4:30 to 6pm (they have the option of doing homework / helping Ms. Tatjana at Club M until 4:30 or they may go home and return for practices).

Flag Football Co-Ed (grades 6-8) is TBA as we do not have a Coach lined up yet. Our wonderful Coach Roni is en route to her new home in North Carolina and Coach Cherish is home with her new baby boy and isn't quite ready to be back on the field this season. Please reach out to Mrs. T at dthomas@cacmp.org if you have an interest in Coaching.  I believe we have enough students for both a 7th and an 8th grade team.

Sabrina Bowl (3rd Annual) is on Sunday, September 15th.  Start time TBD.  If you're interested in helping with the planning of this event, honoring CMP Alum Class of 2010 and CMP Coach Extraordinaire, Sabrina Preszler Tindall, our first planning meeting is on Monday, 8/19 at 5pm in the Upper Office. If you are interested in helping but are unable to attend, kindly email Mrs. T at dthomas@cacmp.org and we can get you on board with a job.  Shirts will be available again this year for pre-order, only.  More info forthcoming.
