Dear Parents and Community Members,
Honesty is our focus for the month of April. The Middle School students led our assembly this morning by sharing about the importance of honesty and sharing the music video they created about honesty. Please support the students at home by following up on this conversation and discussing ways it can be exemplified.
Next week, the middle school students will go to Ashland, Oregon for their literary -cultural immersion trip to experience theater, attend workshops and participate in discussions as part of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. They will be staying in the College Residence Halls and have their meals at the Campus Dining Hall of the Southern Oregon University to get a glimpse of college or university life. What a great experience for our students!
On Saturday, April 13th, a team of middle school students, coached by Mr. Albert Delgado, will be competing in the Academic Pentathlon hosted by the San Joaquin County. This is a scholastic competition participated in by a number of schools all throughout the state and the nation. This is the first year we are participating in this program and it is so exciting!
To learn more about our very special middle school program, you are welcome to set up an observation time with the front office.
Have a great weekend!
