Additional Features:

Before/After School Club Montessori Program :
This program provides families with quality seamless care at each campus. Open from 7 am to 8.30 am and 2 to 6 pm. Homework club and activities planned each day.

Intersession Programs :
Open from 7 am to 6 pm during intersession. Well developed intersession programs.

Parent Participation:
Research indicates that one of the primary indicators of student success is their parent’s involvement in their schooling. CMP requires that all parents participate in the school or at home for 40 hours per student, 70 hours for more than one student per year. Many options on how to do this are provided.

Parent Education:
Part of Montessori education is providing parents with an understanding of the Montessori methodology. Montessori 101 and 102 are provided early in the school year. Parent participation hours are allocated for these hours.

Assessment:
At the beginning of each year and when new students enter the school academic assessments are conducted. The State STAR testing is conducted in the spring of each school year. CMP has aligned the California State Standards with the Montessori competencies and Montessori education meets and often exceeds the standards. Annually a parent survey is conducted and the results provided to all interested parties.

Accreditation:
All five campuses of the California Montessori Project have received full accreditation from MSAC (Montessori School Accreditation Commission) and WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges).
