Book Fairs and Read-A-Thons
Carmichael kicked off October with Literary Character Day, the Book Fair and Read-A-Thon, which generates resources for our amazing school library! We are so appreciative of our CMP-Carmichael families for supporting literacy and the joy of reading among our students!

Our Harvest Festivals are some of our favorite events each year. This year Elk Grove had the first Harvest Festival. It was a roaring success. We'll share photos from other campus Harvest Festivals in the next monthly update.
CMP Capitol - “A Touch of Understanding”
Capitol 4th Graders attended “A Touch of Understanding” presentation and got a firsthand experience of what it’s like using a wheelchair and learning about Braille.
